'She'll Never Be Forgotten:' Track World Reacts To Death Of Tori Bowie
Tori Bowie, who in 2017 became the world's fastest woman at the World Championships, died on Wednesday. Here are the reactions of her death.
U.S. Olympic gold medalist and two-time world champion Tori Bowie, 32, died Wednesday, her agency announced.
The track and field star was a three-time Olympic medalist who won gold in the 4X100 relays as well as silver in the 100 meters and bronze in the 200 meters.
“We’re devasted [sic] to share the very sad news that Tori Bowie has passed away. We’ve lost a client, dear friend, daughter and sister,” her agency said.
“Tori was a champion…a beacon of light that shined so bright! We’re truly heartbroken and our prayers are with the family, friends and everyone that loved her.”

Bowie was found dead in her home in Florida and the cause was not yet known.
