Charity Griffith knocked out a shiny new PR and earned some shiny new hardware as she lept 1.93m for the NCAA title. Her former best was 1.90m from earlier this year indoors.

Texas won the women's 4x100m title in 41.60, just off their collegiate record at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

The Longhorns' time was just off the mark of 41.55 they set on Thursday night in the semifinals.

Triple Jump Final (8:10 p.m. CT)

Jasmine Moore of Florida dominated the women's triple jump, setting new collegiate, meet and facility records en route to winning her second straight title at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Moore, who jumped 14.78m/48-6 on her second attempt broke the collegiate record of 14.62m/47-11.75 set in 2018 by Keturah Orji of Georgia. Her mark broke Orji's. meet record of 14.53m/47-8 set in 2016 and the stadium record of 14.48m/47-6.24 set in 2017 by Tori Franklin.

1500m Final (8:12 p.m. CT)

North Carolina State's Katelyn Touhy saw her bid for an historic distance double come to an end as the sophomore faded badly down the stretch and Harvard's Maia Ramsden surged to the victory at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Tuohy, a junior, was attempting to become the first athlete in history to win the 1500m and 5000m titles on the same day at the NCAA Championships. She will contest her second event in about two hours.

3,000m Steeplechase Final (8:24 p.m. CT)

Olivia Markezich of Notre Dame surged over the final 400m meters to capture the 3000m steeplechase title in a new collegiate best and facility record time at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Markezich finished in 9:25.03, breaking the facility record of 9:27.66 set in 2021 by Kathryn Gillespie of Texas. She also lowered her personal-best by almost 11 seconds.

Greta Karinauskaite of CBU finished second in 9:30.85, and Ceili McCabe of West Virginia finished third in 9:41.32.

100m Hurdles Final (8:42 p.m. CT)

Ackera Nugent of Arkansas exploded through the early portion of the race and held on to win the 100m hurdles title at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Nugent finished in 12.25 seconds, holding off Kentucky senior Masai Russell, who finished second in 12.32 seconds, and LSU junior Alia Armstrong, who took third in 12.49 seconds. 

Nugent's time was a season best and the second-fastest time in NCAA history. Russell's time was also a season best.

100m Final (8:52 p.m. CT)

Julien Alfred of Texas ran away from the field to win the 100m title in a slightly wind-aided 10.72 at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

The wind reading of 2.2 meters per second was the only thing keeping Alfred from lowering the collegiate, meet and facility record of 10.75 seconds set at this meet in 2019 by Sh'Carri Richardson of LSU.

400m Final (9:02 p.m. CT)

Britton Wilson of Arkansas eyed a historic NCAA Championships double. 

Rashidat Adeleke of Texas said "not in my house."

The Longhorn junior surged out of the final turn and left no doubt down the stretch, winning the 400m in a meet-record 49.20 at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Adeleke also lowered the meet mark of 49.36 set in the semifinals by Wilson.

800m Final (9:14 p.m. CT)

Michaela Rose of LSU led from start to finish in a commanding display, winning the women's 800m title in a new facility record at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Rose crossed the finish line in 1:59.83, lowering the stadium record of 2:00.31 that she set in the semifinals on Thursday. Rose's victory is her first individual national title. She is also the first LSU athlete to win the women's 800m title since 1996.

400m Hurdles Final (9:27 p.m. CT)

Fresh legs did Savannah Sutherland of Michigan well as she upset Arkansas' Britton Wilson, running on 25 minutes rest, to win the NCAA 400m hurdles title at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Sutherland, a sophomore, won the race in a personal-best time of 54.45 seconds.

Wilson, who was attempting to become the first athlete to ever win the 400m and 400m hurdles titles at the same NCAA Championships, was also beaten in the 400m, by Rashidat Adeleke of Texas.

5,000m Final (9:55 p.m. CT)

Sophomore Parker Valby of Florida completed a wire-to-wire run to comfortably claim her first 5000m title at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Valby, who finished runner-up in last year's race, finished in 15:30.57, breaking the facility record of 15:46.82 set in 2012 by Megan Goethals of Washington.

Defending champion Katelyn Tuohy of North Carolina State scratched before the race. Earlier in the night, she faded badly and was beaten by Maia Ramsden of Harvard in the 1500m, ending her bid for an unprecedented 1500m/5000m double on the same day at NCAAs.

Arkansas dominated the women's 4x400m, getting a 50.7 anchor from sophomore Rosey Effiong as the exclamation point, to easily win the title at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Heptathlon, Day 2

Freshman Pippi Lotta Enok of Oklahoma used a personal-best in the javelin to catapult passed Jenelle Rogers of Ball State and into the lead and then held on in the 800m to win the heptathlon title.

Enok, the World U-20 silver medalist, ran 2:17.36 in the 800m to pick up 860 points and close out her seven event performance with a new personal-best score of 6165 points.

What Channel Is The 2023 NCAA Track And Field Outdoor Championships On?

The NCAA Track And Field Outdoor Championships are on ESPN2. Coverage for the first day begins at 7:30 p.m. ET Wednesday. Thursday coverage is at 8:30 p.m., Friday at 9 p.m. and Saturday at 9 p.m. ET.

Where Is The 2023 NCAA Track And Field Outdoor Championships? 

The 2023 NCAA Track and Field Championships are in Austin, Texas. The 2024, 2025 and 2026 meets will be in Eugene, Oregon, at Hayward Field. 

How Did Athletes Qualify For the 2023 NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships?

Athletes qualify to the Championships through performance in the First Rounds. Twelve competitors from each individual event and twelve teams from each relay event advance from each First Round site.
