BTC / NOP 5k Showdown at the Payton Jordan Invite
This weekend, Flotrack will be broadcasting the Payton Jordan Invitational LIVE! On May 4th. Flotrack will be bringing the action from Stanford University to all Flotrack Pro subscribers.
The entries list for the Payton Jordan Invite is here and we have a sneak peek of what you can expect from Palo Alto. On the Men’s side we have Anthony Rotich and Donn Cabral in the 3k steeple followed by Luke Caldwell and Cam Levins in the 10k. Lawi Lalang’s brother Boaz Lalang will be running the 800m with Canadian Olympian Geoff Harris. The event of the night is going to be the Men’s 5k where we will see the first Schumacher / Salazar showdown under Schumacher’s new team name, the Bowerman Track Club. Matt Centrowitz and Evan Jager just two of the names headlining the event along with a loaded field that includes Lopez Lomong, Chris Derrick, Ryan Hill and Ben True.
Jordan Hasay had her sights set on Payton Jordan as she described during her post race interview after her Mt. SAC 5k so we can expect a great performance from her this weekend. Hasay will toe the line with Kim Conley and Molly Huddle. Oiselle is loading up the 1500m with Kate Grace, Amanda Mergart, Lauren Wallace and Amanda Winslow.
I have made a condensed version of what to keep your eyes on:
