Oslo, Norway
June 11th, 2014
While we're all in Eugene, OR for the NCAA Outdoor T&F Championships, the Diamond League stops for no man, or collegiate championship. This should be a nice opening act for the dizzying, but exciting week.
The Oslo Diamond League will start on Wednesday, June 11th at 2pm ET. We'll have live updates below and on Twitter. Alternatively, U.S. visitors can click here to watch live while our friends from the UK can watch live here.
For the sake of brevity, we'll name-drop some events like we're trying to get into the club:
Men's 5K: Yenew Alamirew, Dejen Gebremeskel, Thomas Longosiwa, Imane Merga, Caleb Ndiku, Albert Rop, Edwin Soi, and Galen Rupp. Could we see an American Record in the 5K? Americans and Bowerman Track Club's Andrew Bumbalough and Lopez Lomong also feature.
Men's Mile: Ayanleh Souleiman, Nick Willis, Bethwell Birgen, Mekonnen Gebremedhin, Johan Cronje, Homiyu Tesfaye, Chris O'Hare, and Matt Centrowitz.
Men's 3kST: Brimin Kipruto, Paul Koech, Abel Mutai, Dan Huling, and Evan Jager, who has sub-8 on his mind for this summer.
Women's 800m: Eunice Sum, Ajee Wilson, Brenda Martinez, Molly Beckwith, Melissa Bishop, and Janeth Jepkosgei.
