LIVE on Flo: Jenkins Leads Oregon Into MPSF
Eric Jenkins, King Cheserek and NCAA powerhouse Oregon head to Seattle this weekend for the annual MPSF Championships. The Ducks will be looking for some redemption after their men and women's teams finished 2nd and 4th respectively at last year's Championship. They'll have their hands full though as nationally-ranked USC, Washington and Stanford are expected to send full line ups to the event.

Colorado! Let's also remember that Colorado will be in attendance. Though they stand little chance of winnning an MPSF team title, the Colorado men should be able to shake things up big time in the 3k and 5k. It was at last year's MPSF where we saw one of the more entertaining 3k's of the season: Cheserek (Oregon) vs Hursyz (Colorado) vs Olson (Stanford) vs Murphy (Colorado) vs Stinson (Oregon)...
The 5k and DMR are the events to watch though.
While Oregon's Eric Jenkins and Colorado's Pierce Murphy seem safe with top five NCAA 5k times, Stanford's Eric Olson and Washington's Aaron Nelson sit just inside the top 16 with times of 13:45.25 (Olson) and 13:47.42 (Nelson). Colorado's Ammar Moussa may be the one to watch out for in this event as he's currently on the outside, lookin in with a season best of 13:48.34 —good enough for 18th in the country.
King Cheserek leads Oregon's DMR contigent, which currently rank 12th in the country with a time of 9:32.61. It took 9:31.82 to qualify in 2014, so look for Oregon to bring their A-Squad to the track. On the women's side of things, we expect an amazing showdown between Stanford, Washington and Oregon —all of whom possess top 18 NCAA times in the event.
