This one's going to be fun! Professional running group, Furman Elite, will be in attendance at this weekend's Raleigh Relays so keep an eye out for world-class stars Stephanie Garcia & Craig Forys. Fellow pro and world-beating star, Francena McCorory, will also be racing at Raleigh; she's racing the 200m here, though her specialty is the 400m. It's not just the pros competing at Raleigh this weekend though. Collegiate programs Michigan State, North Carolina, Providence, NC State, et al., will be sending athletes to the event; a gang of top high schooler runners have registered to compete at Raleigh in hopes of qualifying for the adidas Grand Prix. FUN FACT: FloTrack's own Meg Bellino is a consituent of the 4x800m squad that set the meet record in that event years ago.

Sukhi Khosla leads the field at the Florida State Relays this weekend. The HS 3200m star holds the meet record in that event and may just go ahead and break the 1600m meet record for kicks. He is on the adidas Dream Mile "watch list" so be ready for a big-time 1600m performance out of the Tallahassee speedster. Also be sure to take a look at Rivals.com 4-star football recruit, John Burt. Barring injury, the talented young fella should be in the NFL someday. It would be great to say you saw him light up competition on the track before he's scoring touchdowns for [insert your favorite NFL team here]. If college competition is more your thing, than you'll have the Florida State, Miami, North Carolina & Ohio State quad to look forward to at this event as well.
