The NCAA Championships have always assembled incredible amounts of track and field talent. This year, however, the collegiate stars are especially bright. 

With names like Sydney McLaughlin, Michael Norman, Josh Kerr, Grant Holloway and Kendall Ellis, this week's action in Eugene looks destined to produce the most exciting meet in all of 2018. 

Beyond the insanely high level of competition, here are five things we are confident about at this year's NCAA Championships.

• On the last race in front of the fabled grandstands at Hayward Field, Kendall Ellis avenges USC’s close loss from 2017 and anchors the Trojan women to a 4x400m victory.

• The Florida men’s squad wins their third straight team title. 

• Karissa Schweizer ends her career with a sweep of the 5000m and 10,000m.

• The men’s 4x400m finishes in the same order as indoors with USC taking first, Texas A&M second and Florida third.

• After runner-up finishes at the last two championships, Isaiah Harris takes the 800m crown.
