It's been seven days up and seven days down at the AAU Junior Olympics here in Des Moines, Iowa.

And that means only one thing.

On Saturday, it's all about championships.

There is no doubt the best races of the week will go down on Saturday on the Drake University Track as we close out another addition of the Junior Olympic Games.

Check out some of the best moments from Day 7 of the Games.

Best Moment:

Tyrese Cooper looked like his old self on Friday--and this came in the dead of heat, late in the day, when everyone else left the stadium.

The MGX star ran his fastest 400m of 2018, tying his 46.54 he ran in February at the Louie Bing Classic.

Keep in mind, this is Cooper's last AAU Junior Olympics. While he's competing in three events (100m, 200m, 400m) over the course of Saturday, it would be a massive cap for Cooper if he could hit 45 for the first time of the year in his last race. Don't be surprised when he does.

Best Race:

The 14-year-old girls 4x100 squad of Detroit Pal Track Club (MI) had set its sights on one thing heading into the AAU Junior Olympics: The team wanted to break 46 seconds.

Well, on Friday they got close, but what that meant was a new national record. Check out their race.
