Analysis:
The Ole Miss women have developed into a consistent national-caliber squad since qualifying for their first-ever NCAA XC Championships in 2016. The Rebels recorded their highest NCAA finish in program history last year, 22nd, and return all seven women from that squad.
Junior Clio Ozanne-Jacques will lead the team for the third year in a row and looks poised to make another big jump after improving from 109th in 2016 to 65th in 2017 at NCAA XC. The Australian native also set PBs of 16:05 for 5K and 33:42 for 10K this spring.
Lisa Vogelgesang, Madeleine King, Ylva Traxler and Maddie McHugh are all returning All-South Region performers and Vogelgesang, a sophomore, made her first NCAA outdoor track appearance this spring with a 16th-place finish in the steeplechase.
