Analysis:

Last year Colorado put three men in the top-11 to lead their team to a podium finish. While the Buffaloes return three from their top-4 runners their search for a 4th and 5th man in 2019 will be what makes or breaks this squad's season. Up front the Buffaloes will rely on All-Americans Joe Klecker, John Dressel, and Eduardo Herrera. Beyond those three coach Mark Wetmore will look to younger talent to fill in the gaps.

Incoming freshmen Kashon Harrison and Austin Vancil have a chance to make the top seven as true freshmen. Their prep resumes speak for themselves having finished high at the Foot Locker and NXN championships respectively.

Also, returning to the squad is junior Paxton Smith and redshirt freshman Gabe Fendel both of which have run sub-14:30 5ks this past spring. The combination of the Buffaloes’ ‘Big-3’ and their slew of newcomers, Colorado will once again contend for a top ten finish.
