Venezuelan Yulimar Rojas set the women’s indoor triple jump world record on Friday in Madrid with a 15.43m leap. With it, the 24-year-old eclipsed Tatyana Lebedeva’s 15.36m mark that had stood since 2004.

15.43m stands as the second-best triple jump ever between indoor and outdoor, as only Inessa Kravets’ 15.50m outdoor world record is superior. Rojas landed her mark in clutch fashion as it came in her final attempt of the meeting at the final World Indoor Tour event of the season.

Rojas, the two-time reigning indoor and outdoor world champion, bettered her 15.41m outdoor best in Madrid.
