Big Ten, ACC Not Allowing Athletes To Compete At NCAAs
Two conferences will not allow their athletes to compete at NCAAs this weekend.
All athletes from ACC and Big Ten schools at the 2020 DI NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships have been informed by their conferences that they will not compete this weekend in Albuquerque due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.

At least one ACC program has already left the event upon learning of their conference’s decision.
Meanwhile, PAC-12 and SEC schools will decide whether or not to compete at the championships on a school by school basis.
The sporting world has endured cancellations en masse over the last day as the U.S. tries to contain the spread of the virus. On Wednesday, the NBA suspended their season after a player tested positive for the virus before a game. On Thursday, top NCAA men's basketball programs Duke and Kansas withdrew from the NCAA tournament.
