Middle Tennessee Medical Center and S.A.V.E. present the second annual S.A.V.E. The Night Fun Run 5K. Registration begins at 7:00 p.m. and the race starts at 8 p.m.. The race will be timed by Rabbit Road Racing and will feature awards, prizes, donuts, and a superhero costume contest. All the proceeds go to Boukeron, Haiti through the non-profit Sustaining a Village Everyday, also known as S.A.V.E. This is a charity created and run by teens to sustain malnourished villages of Haiti. Last year, the organization raised over $27,000 which provided Bibles, a well, a latrine, goats, and partnered with a congregation to build a church/school. The funds for next year are anticipated to other nutritional and sanitary needs and towards education. All participants over 9 years old are $27.50 and those under 9 are $17.50. Those registering the day of the race are $35.00.
