Ben Saarel Dream Mile Workout
Ben Saarel has taken high school distance by storm this season. With new PRs of 1:51, 4:08 and 8:45 Ben has shown exceptional range along with closing speed that is tough for the best in the country to handle (54 second close at Mt SAC mile). Saarel also ran 8:49 in the 3200 at altitude just a few weeks ago. He heads up NYC this weekend as one of the favorites to not only win the Dream Mile, but also break the elusive 4 minute mile. Workout: 400-800-400 @ 60 sec pace 200 jog between each Elevation at 4,600 ft.
