Less than a year after he became the first high schooler to clear 18 feet indoors, Mondo Duplantis turned in maybe the best vault series in high school history. The junior from Lafayette, Louisiana, who competes for Sweden, cleared 18-2 to break his own high school indoor record, then jumped 18-5 for the best indoor or outdoor vault in high school history. The IAAF banned Russian pole vaulter from competing at the Rio Olympics, but she still traveled to Brazil to win an election.
