Marvin Bracy to run today in final Florida State Meet
Today Marvin Bracy will step to the track to compete in his final Florida High School State Championships at the FHSAA 4A State Meet in Jacksonville at the University of North Florida. Competing in the 100 and 200, Bracy is trying to leave as one of the best sprinters of all time to come out of the state. We have been fortunate enough to be the for some of Bracy's fastest moments and hope that today will be much of the same. It is very likely that he will be knocking on the door of the national record held by Florida native Jeff Demps, who ran 10.01 at the Olympic Trials in 2008. That year Demps ran at 10.40 to win the FL 3A state title and also ran a nasty come from behind leg on the 4x100 for the victory (videos below).
