In late March Emily Infeld, the 10k bronze medalist from the 2015 World Championships, found out she had stress fracture in her hip. The news was devastating as she was coming off the best year of her career and was looking to make her first Olympic Team. Infeld took five weeks off from running but was able to keep a level head as she held on to her goal of qualifying to the 2016 Olympic Games. Infeld battled with Molly Huddle in the 10k final where she took the runner up spot and punched her ticket to Rio!
