Walter Henning of LSU is the 2008 World Junior Champion and world junior record holder in the hammer. Last year, he was the first hammer thrower from the US to win gold since 1956. As a freshman last year indoor, he finished 3rd at NCAAs and was also the ACC Champ in the weight. He has since transferred to LSU where he looks to continue building on his impressive resume.
