Christian Taylor switched his take-off leg in 2014, now has a shot at the triple jump world record
Aug 21, 2015
2012 Olympic Triple Jump Champion Christian Taylor sits at No. 2 in the world heading into the 2015 World Championships with his monster personal best leap of 18.06m. During 2014, a non-championship year for track and field, Taylor decided to switch his take-off leg, a risk worth taking after suffering from different injuries over the years. Since the switch, his PB jump went from 17.96 (in 2011) to 18.06. He will battle with Cuba's Pedro Pablo Pichardo, who sits at world No. 1 with 18.08m, for world gold.
