Prezel Hardy runs second fastest time 10.18 in first round at 2012 NCAA D1 West Prelim

Prezel Hardy Jr. has had a successful outdoor season so far, being selected as Big 12 Outdoor Performer of the Year after scoring 22 1/2 points at his conference meet. Hardy Jr. is no stranger to winning, having won USATF Junior 100m and World Youth Championship 100m titles while in high school. His weekend is packed, with 100m quarter finals and 200m prelims on Friday, and 200m quarter finals on Saturday. If he continues suit, he'll have no problem stomping his way to Des Moines.
