Ryan is showing a little biased this week as the Tasty Race of the Week is coming from his home state of Maine. Kennebunk sophomore Abby Leonardi completed state championship double the state hasn't seen....both runs were solo efforts. In the 1600 Abby dropped her own PR and her former state record when she ran 4:51. Later that day she ran a 10:42 (already ran 10:36 earlier this season) for 3200 taking a huge 24 seconds off the old state record. In a state that doesn't produce favorable conditions until late May its some impressive stuff as Leonardi is now ranked in the top 5 for sophomores in both events throughout the country. Look out for her this weekend at New Englands and the following weekend at New Balance Nationals.
